Assignment #6 - Black History Month

In this assignment, I've been asked to read about an influential black Canadian and write about who the person was and what contributions they gave to Canada. I chose to use Peter C. Butler III. He was the first black Canadian to become a police officer. He was born on1859 in Biddulph, Ontario and died on 1943 in Lucan, Ontario. He became a police officer in 1913 and was an officer until 1936. He was a friendly man who, instead of relieing, relied on his size and police stick.
